Required Qualifications The candidates should have an M.D. or D.O. or M.D. Ph.D., Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology, and be eligible for a license to practice medicine in Alabama. The successful candidate beyond starting Assistant Professors should have a national reputation in academic pathology and a track record of a competitive basic, translational, and/or clinically focused research program. Subspecialty expertise in GI pathology and several years of experience will be favorably considered.
