Job Description The Department of Radiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a faculty candidate for its musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging section.
The Department of Radiology consists of 109 faculty, including 19 physicists and PhD researchers. The MSK section consists of eight faculty members who are responsible for a wide variety of diagnostic tests and procedures, with access to state-of-the-art equipment in CT, ultrasound, MRI, and fluoroscopy in inpatient and outpatient facilities. Candidates should have an interest in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Willingness to perform image-guided procedures is required. The ideal candidate will have keen clinical skills, and an active interest in teaching, service, and research. Qualified applicants should be ABR-certified or eligible, have completed fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging or be proficient in musculoskeletal imaging and diagnostic radiology, and must be eligible to practice medicine in Alabama.
