Job Description The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a full-time TBI academic physiatrist. Applicants must be Board certified/eligible in physical medicine. Appointment rank and tenure will be at a level consistent with the applicant’s accomplishments. The department offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and education and travel funds. The successful candidate is immediately eligible to participate in the department’s faculty incentive program focusing on scholarly and teaching activities.
This position will serve our TBI patient population, with a mix of ambulatory clinics and/or inpatient service. We are looking for applicants that are committed to academic medicine and have an interested in engaging in research and educating residents.
