Full Time Job Summary Responsible for meeting, assessing and diagnosing patients in our clinic and providing them with healthcare services that meet state and national standards for caregiving. They will be responsible for prescribing patients with appropriate medication, health regimens and lifestyle adjustments that will contribute to their recovery from diagnosed health issues, prevent future health issues and/or promote a healthier life. vaccinations in the event patients experience any adverse effects, diagnose and treat patients that have potentially been exposed to COVID-19 and/or any of its present or future variants, diagnose and treat patients that have tested positive for COVID-19 and/or any of its present or future variants with evidence-based methods. The right candidate will have a passion for providing diagnostic services to patients and will enjoy working closely with other healthcare professionals in our organization. Essential Job Duties
Examining patients, taking medical histories, addressing patients’ concerns, and answering patients’ questions.
Diagnosing and treating injuries, illnesses, and disorders.
Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests and explaining the results to patients.
Analyze reports, test results, medical records and examinations to diagnose condition of patients and propose treatment options.
Conduct routine and sports physicals.
Counseling patients on diet, hygiene, preventative healthcare, and other lifestyle changes.
Updating patients’ charts and information to reflect current findings and treatments.
Recommending and designing treatment plans.
Prescribe medications or therapies and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions.
Discuss potential side effects of medication/treatment with patients and ensure that all allergy information is up-to-date before prescribing medication/treatment.
Provide advice to patients for lifestyle and diet changes that may improve their health or help to treat the health issue they are experiencing.
Explaining medical procedures to patients.
Consulting with other physicians, referring patients to specialists when necessary, and working with other healthcare staff, such as nurses, assistants, and other physicians.
Maintain patient confidentiality and complying with all federal and state health information privacy laws (i.e., HIPAA).
Record complete, timely and legible medical records.
Qualifications (Education, Experience and Specialized Training)
A medical degree from an accredited program and the successful completion of internship and/or residency.
Proved experience as a physician (College or University Student Health Clinic preferred).
A state valid license and certification to practice medicine.
Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration and DEA number authorizing prescription writing controlled and uncontrolled substances.
Physical Demands

Ability to lift and carry parcels, packages and other items
Ability to view a computer terminal
Skills and Attributes Knowledge of:
You should be knowledgeable, detail oriented, and have good problem-solving skills.
BLS and ACLS certified or earn certification within 30-45 days of acceptance of employment.
Knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of illnesses.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Kind and compassionate towards their patients, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to:
