Outpatient PediatricianJob Summary:

We are seeking ateam-oriented, positive and exceptional pediatrician to join ourestablished private practice and clinic system located in ahistoric city in Alabama, an hour’s drive from the emerald coast.

This position the ideal candidate should be comfortable eventuallyseeing at least 20 patients per day and have the willingness andability to see more as needed. Initially patient volume will not beat that level and 10-15 is expected as the new site patient volumegrows. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with a possiblerotation of Saturdays from 8am to 12pm in the future. ( Notcurrently in place ) The pediatrician will not be required to doany inpatient work, but can have courtesy privileges at localhospital. The position is employed, and the base salary target is$210,000-$260,000 (Negotiable) additional compensation and bonusesare available to round out a highly comprehensive compensationpackage for the region. Education assistance and award of100k-150k.

Job Duties:

Provides exceptional pediatric care to children. Maintains appropriate and accurate medical records using AzaleaHealth EMR. Participates in rotating telephone triage call with otherproviders in the practice as needed. Communicates effectively with patients and their families, aswell as with other healthcare providers. Collaborates effectively with Nurse Practitioners. Closes charts within 96 hours at most.

Requirements:

MD/DO degree and Board Certification or Board Eligibility inPediatrics. Valid Alabama Medical License. Or Intent to License. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience preferred, but notrequired. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, andstaff. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented and positive attitude.
