TM Position Highlights:

The Hematology & OncologyDepartment at Crystal Run Healthcare is a busy, well-established,state-of-the-art practice serving patients throughout OrangeCounty, Hudson Valley, and the lower Catskills. The cancer care weprovide locally has been recognized nationally, as Crystal RunHealthcare was one of the first 16 community cancer care facilitiesin America certified by the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative(QOPI®). Overall

  • we have the team, equipment, reputation, andsupport you need to practice at the peak of your license and thriveas a Hematologist/Oncologist today and tomorrow!
  • This is ahospital-based position, providing care for Crystal Run’s oncologypatients.
  • This role will work 5 days per week, Monday-Friday9am-5pm
  • Call every 7 weekends or longer (depending on staffinglevels
  • 2 days off following every weekend of call
  • Will covertwo hospitals St. Luke’s in Newburgh and Garnet Medical Center inMiddletown.
  • Patient census
  • diverse adult-focused patientpopulation (18).
Position Responsibilities:
  • Commonly treatedconditions include but are not limited to: Disorders of Red orWhite Blood Cells, Anemia, Sickle Cell Anemia, Thalassemia,Hemochromatosis, Bleeding and Clotting Disorders, HematologicMalignancies, and all common types of cancer.
  • Consult withpatients about the status of their health, while providing themwith the latest advancements in care.
  • Multidisciplinarycollaboration.
  • Refer patients to advanced specialists as needed
  • Examine & diagnose patients to determine the need fortreatment/procedure/surgery, oversight of all treatment prior toand post-surgery, and identify associated risks.
  • Order tests andinterpret results to determine the best treatment options.

Required Qualifications:
  • Completion of(or in process of completing) accredited relevant fellowshiptraining program.
  • BC/BE in Hematology/Oncology or MedicalOncology.
  • Unrestricted New York State Medical License (or abilityto obtain).
  • Current New York State DEA certificate (or ability toobtain).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

The salary/hourly range for this role is 317,500 $to 595,500 per year. Salary Range is defined as total cashcompensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base andbonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Payis based on several factors including but not limited to locallabor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
