• Physician-led, patient centered team-based environment
• Independent practice with strong affiliation with local tertiarycare hospital that provides a full range of gastroenterologymedicine

• Full complement of excellent support staff (Advanced PracticeClinician, Medical Assistants and Administrative teams) anddedicated practice management systems in place that enable you topractice at the peak of your licensure and assist within patientcare

PrimaryResponsibilities:

• Consult with patients to understand theirhealth concerns and perform specialized tests to diagnose and treatpatients
• Perform endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures (i.e.,ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound procedure experience highlypreferred)
• Examines patients in clinic, hospital rounds andperforms surgical procedures as needed
• Consult with patient’sprimary care physician and other specialists
• Serve ascollaborating physician to assigned Advanced Practice Clinician(s)What makes an Optum organization different?

Required Qualifications:

• Fellowshiptraining in Gastroenterology
• Residency training in InternalMedicine
• Unrestricted medical licensure in the state of New York(or has New York license application submitted and in-process)
• Active and unrestricted DEA License (or ability to obtain prior tostart)
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility inGastroenterology
• CPR certified (or willing to obtain prior tostart)
• Active and unrestricted CDS permit (or ability to obtainprior to start)
• ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound procedureexperience Would you thrive with Optum?

The salary range for this role is $371,000 to$735,500 annually based on full-time employment. Salary Range isdefined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range andpay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience andmetric achievement Pay is based on several factors including butnot limited to local labor markets, education, work experience,certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimumwage laws as applicable.
