  • Supported to grow your practice and patient panel
PrimaryResponsibilities:
  • Consult with patients to understand theirhealth concerns and perform specialized tests to diagnose and treatpatients
  • Perform endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures (i.e.,ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound procedure experience highlypreferred)
  • Examines patients in clinic, hospital rounds andperforms surgical procedures as needed
  • Consult with patient’sprimary care physician and other specialists
  • Serve ascollaborating physician to assigned Advanced Practice Clinician(s)What makes an Optum organization different?

Required Qualifications:
  • Fellowshiptraining in Gastroenterology
  • Residency training in InternalMedicine
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility inGastroenterology
  • Unrestricted medical licensure in the state ofNew York (or has New York license application submitted andin-process)
  • Active and unrestricted CDS permit (or ability toobtain prior to start)
  • Active and unrestricted DEA License (orability to obtain prior to start)
  • Must be CPR certified (orwilling to obtain prior to start)

The salaryrange for this role is $371,000 to $735,500 annually based onfull-time employment. Salary Range is defined as total cashcompensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base andbonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Payis based on several factors including but not limited to locallabor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
