An Inpatient Psychiatric Unit is seeking a Psychiatrist toprovide coverage 35 hours per week. The facility is located inWestchester County, New York. This inpatient adult psychiatryposition offers flexible weekday hours, ranging from 7:30 a.m.3:00p.m. to 9:00 a.m.4:30 p.m., with no call requirements. The providerwill manage a caseload of 1012 patients, with an average inpatientlength of stay of 15 days. The unit has 29 beds and is staffed by 2psychiatrists and 1 psych NP. The facility uses Cerner as its EMRsystem. Both board-certified and board-eligible candidates arewelcome. Typical cases involve adult inpatient psychiatry. Thebroader health system includes 35 full-time psychiatric providers,consisting of 25 psychiatrists and 10 psychiatric NPs. Telepsychservices are not utilized.
