Job Description
Associate Internal Medicine Residency Program Director needed for an Academic Hospital in Connecticut.
Job Function:
Associate Program Director will work in conjunction with program director to oversee residents going through combined internal medicine/preventative medicine program Mix of teaching and admin time + work as a hospitalist Must cultivate and maintain a thriving education environment for learning and professional development of residents and faculty Ensure continuing accreditation of the program by complying with ACGME Eligible for academic appointment at local medical schools
Job Requirements:
CT State license, DEA, CSR (active or applied preferred) but not required Residency training in Internal Medicine Required Board certification in Internal Medicine required 3+ years of clinical experience 1+ years of administrative or teaching experience preferred Demonstrated experience in clinical education and leadership preferred
