- Part Time Chiefland, FL
- This facility has been serving advanced illness needs in NorthFlorida for decades and is the recipient of the Circle of LifeAward from the American Hospital Association for its excellence andinnovation and has been recognized as a Florida Pacesetter for itsleadership in promoting advance directives.
The Access Physician will primarily be responsible for evaluatingpatients for hospice eligibility over the phone or via thecomputer. Hours are flexible with at least 2 days a weekpreferred
- The Access Physician will also provide medical direction andsupervision of patient care; provide instruction and medicalsupport to Hospice staff; develop and implement education andconsultation services to medical communities, professionals andphysicians.
- The Access Physician can reside anywhere within ourservice area, but will be required to travel to Gainesville forinitial training and meetings as needed.
