JOB SUMMARY
This role is for a compassionate, skilled andexperienced Licensed Physician, Board-Certified OB-GYN to providecomprehensive healthcare services to our female patients in theNTMC outpatient clinic. This role is employed through acomprehensive employment contract which includes a generouscompensation package. Services will focus on reproductive health,pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care. This physician overseestesting, diagnosing conditions, and monitoring women’s healthissues offering guidance, support, and medical expertise on a widerange of women’s health matters. May also provide generalhealthcare services to women.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONSMonitor and treat expectant mothers during pregnancy, childbirthand postpartum Diagnose and treat conditions related to the femalereproductive system Care for and treat women during prenatal,natal, and postnatal periods. Care for women during pregnancy andchildbirth. Perform surgeries, and offer preventive care and familyplanning guidance Collect medical information from patients, familymembers, Educate patients about disease prevention, detection andreproductive health Collaborate with other medical and non-medicalpersonnel Keep up to date with current practices and innovationsExplain procedures and discuss test results or prescribedtreatments with patients. Explain medical procedures or testresults to patients or family members. Monitor patients’ conditionsand progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary. Monitorpatient progress or responses to treatments. Advise patientsconcerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention. Referpatient to medical specialist or other healthcare practitioner whennecessary.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
REQUIREDLicensed Medical Doctor (MD) State of Texas – Active OR LicensedDoctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) State of Texas – Active ANDBoard-Certified OB/GYN by American Board of Obstetrics andGynecology (ABOG) Proven work experience as an OB-GYN or similarrole
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Able to communicate effectively in English,both verbally and in writing. Bilingual – Spanish preferred (oral ≀itten)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
May be required to sit or stand forlong periods of time. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Reasonableaccommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilitiesto perform the essential functions of the position withoutcompromising patient care.
