Opportunity :
Active & unrestricted Florida Medical License + DEA required Seeking Board Certified Cardiothoracic / Cardiovascular Surgeons Seeking candidates that do all Cardiovascular + Thoracic Surgeries (willing to also consider Cardiovascular ONLY candidates) Robotics are available but not required Clinic hours are from 8A
- 5P•will cover one half day of clinic each week When not in clinic, will be on 24-hour call coverage covering two facilities 10 miles apart from each other Will only do surgery at 1 main facility, but may need to go to second facility to see consults as needed Will have 2-3 days each week that have scheduled block time for CVT Surgery; Will have first assist support while doing procedures during block time Will do between 2-4 procedures / day during block time Average inpatient volume (including all•procedures, new consults, follow ups) will be between 12-18 PPD Emergent procedures range between 5-10 per week Program consists of 2 other surgeons + CVT APP Support Main facility: 200+ bed facility, Designated Trauma facility, Epic EMR (clinic located on campus of facility) Second facility: 180+ beds, Epic EMR, not a designated trauma center Located closely to an international airport to accommodate easy flights Jackson and Coker offers: + Weekly Direct Deposit + Top Rated Malpractice Insurance + In-House Travel Agency + 24/7 Recruiter Availability + Experienced In-House Privileging Coordinators Experience why Jackson and Coker has been recognized by Forbes and Staffing Industry Analysts for our commitment to service excellence.
