TGH Florida Lung Transplant Opening Academic Lung Transplant Surgeon – Cardiothoracic Surgery Opportunity to join rapidly growing Lung Transplant Program at Assistant / Associate / Professor level with Leadership Potential Additional interest in minimally invasive/robotic thoracic or esophageal procedures will be supported Involvement in resident and medical school student education as well as strong research background encouraged Excellent starting salary plus bonus with strong benefits package Strong surgical support group including 14-member APP team Closed dedicated CTICU Ex Vivo Perfusion device for DCD lungs program Commitment to multidisciplinary team-based care Tampa General Hospital is now ranked in the nation for transplants, completing 889 transplants between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2024.
