Job Description
A leading healthcare system in beautiful Fort Lauderdale, Florida is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a collaborative, mission-driven team. Position Overview:
Perform a full range of cardiothoracic surgical procedures Provide patient care in both inpatient (rounding) and outpatient (clinic) settings Share on-call responsibilities (10″12 days per month, including 2 weekends) Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary medical team Utilize the
EPIC EMR
system for documentation and care coordination See an average of approximately 20 patients per day Help build and grow the Cardiothoracic Surgery program as the second surgeon on the team Participate in emergency surgical coverage
Qualifications:
Must have proven experience as a Cardiothoracic Surgeon (not open to new graduates or Board Eligible-only candidates) Active Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required (no lapsed certifications) Clean Malpractice and Licensing History and 6+ years of relevant experience
