The Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking a full-time Abdominal Transplant Surgeon to join our nationally recognized Department of Transplant—a leader in innovative, multidisciplinary transplant care.
Position Highlights
Perform liver, kidney, and pancreas transplants, as well as living donor nephrectomies and deceased donor procurement
Practice within a dedicated Department of Transplantation
Collaborate in a multispecialty, team-based model, providing comprehensive care from evaluation through lifelong follow-up
Access to cutting-edge research, advanced technologies, and robust educational programs across Mayo Clinic’s three sites: Florida, Rochester (MN), and Arizona
Candidate Qualifications
Board-certified in General Surgery
Completion (or anticipated completion in 2025 or 2026) of an ASTS-approved abdominal transplant fellowship
Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice, with strong interests in research and medical education
Eligible for Florida state medical licensure
