Responsibilities Mayo Clinic is searching for aninnovative physician leader to serve as the Chair of its Departmentof Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at our academic medicalcenter in Jacksonville, Florida. The Department Chair will beaccountable for driving innovation, capitalizing on technology,advancing progressive research, and educating the next generationof physicians. They will be responsible for achieving exceptionalpatient outcomes, financial and growth objectives in addition toactively recruiting and retaining top talent to advance Mayo’smission. The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation inJacksonville, Florida includes 7 physiatrists and more than 100PTs/ OTs. The selected candidate will be joining amultidisciplinary spine center, and partnering with a newlyappointed medical director along with embedded relationships withboth Neurosurgery and interventional Pain Medicine Innovation andcompassion are paramount to providing world-class medical care topatients from all over the world.
