Job Description
Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery in Jacksonville, Florida. The selected leader will provide expert surgical care, leading a team of pediatric neurosurgeons and healthcare professionals and develop strategic initiatives to improve outcomes, access and innovation in neurosurgical care for children.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the strategic, operational and financial management of the pediatric neurosurgery division Recruit, mentor and evaluate faculty and staff Develop and implement departmental goals, policies, clinical protocols and quality initiatives Represent the division at hospital leadership meetings and contribute to institutional strategy Oversee the quality, safety, and efficiency of pediatric neurosurgical services Ensure departmental participation in multidisciplinary care with neurology, oncology, orthopedics, intensive care, and rehabilitation teams
