Job Description

Radiology Supervisor II Jacksonville, Florida Professional – Clinical 51510 Supervises and coordinates operations of the assigned cost center(s) to ensure accurate and timely services are provided to customers. Provides supervision and leadership to the staff.

Qualifications Age of Patients Served:

All Age Groups.

Required Education:

High School Diploma or GED.

Specific course work:

Graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline.

Preferred Education:

Associate’s degree.

Necessary Skills:

1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 2. Ability to work well under pressure to complete deadlines. 3. Demonstrate appropriate computer skills. 4. Familiar with imaging equipment and all other patient care equipment.

Required Licensure/Certifications:

Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Certified in at least one (1) radiology modalities through ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS.

Required Experience:

3-5 years Radiology experience -OR- Supervisory experience

Preferred Experience:

Five (5) years as a radiological technologist. Over three (3) years in a supervisory role within radiology.

Supervision:

Supervisory responsibility of 10 employees.

Preferred Licensure/Certification:

Certified in two (2) different Radiology modalities through ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS.
