Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the role of Rounding on admitted patients and taking in new Admissions on weekends. Job hours are 7am to 5pm where provider takes call for floor patients helps with rounding and admits. Staffs with an attending physician on the patients.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting for overnight admission to the hospital. Collaborate with attending physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement appropriate treatment plans. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures as necessary. Facilitate timely and efficient admissions processes, ensuring that patients receive appropriate care and support. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans in electronic medical records.
Qualifications:
Current Active APRN or PA license to practice in Florida Prefer minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner or PA in a hospital setting, preferably in acute care. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
