Primary Care Physician Locums Job Northern Orlando, Florida General Summary:

Join a mission-driven team focused on senior care in Northern Orlando. We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Primary Care Physician for a full-time 3-6 month locum tenens assignment. Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive primary care to adult patients only (18+) Diagnose, treat, and manage chronic and acute conditions Prescribe medications, order labs/imaging, and refer to specialists as needed Provide follow-up care and preventive health education Manage patients on controlled substances (e.g., anti-anxiety medications, benzodiazepines•not pain management) Use EMR (Epic) for documentation and coordination of care

Schedule & Assignment Details:

Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM/8:00 AM•5:00 PM Average 20 patients per day•So-me complex cases expected, so flexibility in pace is valued No call requirements

Start:

ASAP, once credentialed Adults only (18+)•backfilling for an Internal Medicine provider, but Family Medicine physicians welcome Spanish-speaking is helpful, but not required Experience with controlled substances in a primary care setting Familiarity with Epic EMR is a plus

Requirements:
