A top-performing hospital near Fort Myers, Florida is hiring immediately for contract-based physicians to support their 11-bed Emergency Department handling 26,000 annual visits . Compensation & Perks:
$250/hour (1099 Independent Contractor) Malpractice Insurance + Tail Coverage Provided Flexible Scheduling 12-hour shifts: 7a7p | 7p7a Part-time or full-time considered
Key Responsibilities:
Provide acute emergency care across a wide variety of patient presentations Perform critical procedures and rapid assessments Manage and stabilize patients of all ages Collaborate closely with nursing and hospital staff Document patient care using Epic EMR (preferred experience)
Required Qualifications:
MD or DO , board-certified or board-eligible in: Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) OR Family/Internal Medicine with ED experience Current or eligible Florida medical license Certifications required :
ATLS ACLS BLS PALS
1+ years of Emergency Medicine experience preferred About the
