JOB SUMMARY

As a Nocturnist ARNP you will have the schedule: 7 pm – 7am block schedule, 7 nights on /7 nights off .

MUST HAVE ICU/CRITICAL CARE BACKGROUND ALONG WITH HOSPITALIST EXPERIENCE. MUST

have experience as an ARNP running codes, rapids and procedures.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

Examine patients and record history Adhere to proper charting protocols Discuss with Physician and other health care professionals to prepare comprehensive plan Order or execute tests or images as needed Submit health care plan and goals of individual patients for periodic review by Physician Analyze results of tests, diagnose and report to patient Administer or prescribe treatment and medications Promote health by advising patient on diet, hygiene and prevention of disease Inoculate and vaccinate as required Refer to specialist as required for patient’s well-being Report deaths and contagious diseases to governmental authorities Other responsibilities as assigned Respond to Rapids, Run Codes, Procedures

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Must have and maintain current State of Florida license in good standing Florida DEA License (if applicable) Current National Board Certification BLS Certification Must have working in the hospital setting within the past 12 months
