OB GYN Position Available In Lee, Florida

Job Description:

A facility is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage. InFort Myers, Florida, soak up the sun on the beautiful beaches ofSanibel Island, renowned for shelling and wildlife. Thisopportunity involves 24-hour shifts for OB Hospitalists, withresponsibilities that include providing GYN coverage, backing upmidwives and family practice, and having access to first assistsupport (typically provided by midwives, residents, or groupmembers). Hospitalists are not required to first assist but havethe option if needed. Backup is available through

call.

The facility features a Level III NICU and conducts approximately3,739 births annually, averaging 527 total hospital deliveries permonth. Hospitalists can expect around 16 deliveries and 431non-delivery patient encounters per month. There is no MFM orresidency program onsite, but in-house anesthesia is available. TheEMR system used is Epic.
