Job Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited medical school
- Florida medical license and in good standing with medical board
- Completion of Anesthesiology Fellowship
- Completion of Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology (ABA) and BC/BE in Pediatric Anesthesiology (ABP)
- American Heart Association BLS
- maintain active and in good standing throughout employment
Job Description:
Outstanding Opportunities for BC/BE Pediatric Anesthesiologists in Miami Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, a 325-bed freestanding children’s hospital and ACS-verified Level 1 pediatric trauma center, and Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists, the physician multispecialty group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System, have exceptional opportunities for BC/BE fellowship-trained pediatric anesthesiologists.
- Provide care for a full range of cases from neonates to young adults
- Wide case mix, including those of the highest complexity, in fields of pediatric surgery, orthopedics, urology, neurosurgery, otolaryngology, craniofacial surgery, ENT, cardiac and other surgical specialties. Providers practice on the main campus in addition to an ambulatory surgery center.
- Teaching residents and fellows is encouraged
