The Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a skilled and experienced General Staff Cardiologist to join our healthcare team at the new UHealth SoLé Mia facility.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide clinical care and consultative services to patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and oversee patient care Perform and interpret various diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, CT scans, MRI scans, and nuclear cardiology studies Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans Provide leadership to the cardiology team, including mentoring and teaching trainees and junior staff members Participate in academic and educational initiatives, including teaching medical students and conducting research Maintains confidentiality of all patient information and adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures
Desired Qualifications:
Board certification/eligible in Cardiology Active medical license from accredited institution Strong clinical skills, with the ability to provide high-quality care to patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions Proficiency in performing and interpreting diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, CT scans, MRI scans, and nuclear cardiology studies Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams Experience in academic and educational initiatives, including teaching and research
