You will simultaneously providehigh-quality patient care while providing teaching and oversight toMedical Residents.– This is an opportunity for full-time employment. Working from 9AMto 1PM with residents and available for call by phone from 2PM to9AM.– For the Physician Hospitalist 220K based on experience with productivity incentive Malpractice Vacation Full office support staff Productivity incentives Responsibilities of the Physician Hospitalist Provide full teaching support to residents. Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such asmedical history, reports, and examination results. Analyze records, reports, test results, or examinationinformation to diagnose medical condition of patients. Make diagnoses when different illnesses occur together or insituations where the diagnosis may be obscure. Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribedtreatments with patients. Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and otherspecialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, orinjury. Monitor patients’ conditions and progress and re-evaluatetreatments as necessary. Requirements of the Physician Hospitalist Active Florida Medical License Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy with a degree from anaccredited college Board Certified or Board Eligible if residency was recentlycompleted Patience while teaching Knowledge of Citrix EMR
