Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Rotations:
Rotate through various clinical settings, including inpatient psychiatric units, outpatient clinics, emergency departments, consultation-liaison services, and community mental health centers. Participate in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a wide range of psychiatric disorders.
Patient Care:
Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and ongoing care for patients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, and other modalities as appropriate.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, nurses, occupational therapists, and case managers, to provide coordinated and holistic care for patients. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and case conferences.
Education and Training:
