Job Description

Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Childrens Hospital seeks an Allergy & Immunology Pediatrician to join our expanding division. Our division specializes in caring for patients with complex inborn errors of immunity, including conditions such as hypogammaglobulinemia, SAD, CGD, STAT1/3, and immune dysregulation. As such, a strong interest in Clinical Immunology is desired. We are focused on expanding our Allergy clinic, offering comprehensive diagnostic procedures including skin pricks, intradermal patches, and DHT, along with advanced immunotherapy implementations. While the position is primarily ambulatory, occasional inpatient consultations at our adjoining hospital will be required.

Responsibilities:

Diagnosis and treatment of patients with primary immunodeficiencies Diagnosis and treatment of patients with serious or unusual allergy manifestations Patient care in the inpatient and outpatient setting Teaching pediatric residents and subspecialty fellows

Pulmonary Function Test Interpretation Skin pricks Intradermal testing Drug desensitization Although this is a primarily clinical position, the role offers opportunities to conduct research and potentially develop in-house laboratory testing capabilities.
