Physicians must be BoardCertified in Critical Care Medicine & must have cardiovasculartraining or experience working with the CVICU population. The CVICU Intensivist will be a part of a multi-disciplinaryteam co-managing a 12-bed Cardiac ICU and a 32-bed Medical-SurgicalICU 12 hour APP coverage at night Physician shifts are 7a-7p Flexible schedule comprised of 15 shifts per month (180hours/mo on average) Cerner EMR Provide evidence-based care for all cardiac critical carepatients, including cardiology, cardiac surgery, ECMO, Impelladevice for treating acute MI complicated by cardiogenic shock andLVADS for patients with heart failure This 199-bed acute carehospital serves the residents of Palm Beach County and the TreasureCoast. The hospital was the first in Palm Beach County to performopen-heart surgery and has since remained one of the area s leadingheart hospitals.
This facility offers comprehensive cardiac care,ECMO Program and advanced minimally invasive procedures includingTranscatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) and MitraClip.
