This APRN position is a part-time position but may grow into a full-time opportunity with benefits. This position is for our St Pete location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform clinical evaluation of new and established patients for venous insufficiency including leg pain, varicose veins, spider veins, venous ulcers, edema, and/or other health conditions Perform minimally invasive vein procedures including Radiofrequency Ablation, Varithena, Ambulatory Phlebectomy and Sclerotherapy Review and prescribe patient medications and compression stockings when necessary Collaborate with Vascular Surgeon, APRN, RVT, MA, Insurance Specialist, Front Desk Coordinator, and administrative staff to create a highly efficiency, organized and patient-oriented medical team Work independently, with strong communication and collaboration under the direction of our Program Physician and Program Lead APRN Refer patients who have been determined to need care outside our scope of practice Patient education about venous insufficiency and its complications Aid lymphedema patients obtain lymphatic pump and necessary supplies Perform initiation of basic wound care Collaborate with referring physicians Record clear and accurate medical documentation in the patient’s medical chart Aid as needed by direction program lead APRN with office coverage as needed Follow all applicable medical care regulations and safety protocols

Required Experience and Qualifications:

Florida Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license required Minimum of two years of experience in related fields (vein clinic, vascular surgery, interventional radiology, dermatology, plastic surgery helpful) EMR experience required, prefer eClinicalWorks experience Demonstrate the ability to assess the full scope of patient needs Ability to build rapport with patients Conduct courteous and professional manner Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment VIP is an equal opportunity employer and a drug free and smoke free work environment.
