We are currently seeking a PT Psychiatrist for one of ourlocations in the Clearwater area. This position is part timeworking 20 hours per week.
Job Duties:
Evaluates the mental health status of patients upon referral,evaluates patients on or for psychotropic medications and conductsperiodic reviews, reviews health records, diagnostic testing, etc.,and makes necessary adjustments to treatment as indicated,documents all healthcare encounters in a clear and concise mannerinto the EMR, Assist in training of personnel as requested,participates in the development and evaluation of mental healthpolicies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to diagnose and treat patients with mental, emotional andbehavioral disorders, ability to organize data concerning thepatient, ability to determine nature and extent of mental disorderand formulate a treatment program.
Requirements:
Doctoral Degree (MD or DO) Minimum of 3 years experience in psychiatry Active DEA Certification, CPR/BLS/ACLS Certification and a valid FLdrivers license.
