APRN/PA – GYN (FT) Position Available In Polk, Florida

PracticingGynecologist/Urogynecologist is seeking a dedicated and skilled PhysicianAssistant (PA-C) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join the teamand help expand services in Gynecology. This is a great opportunity for amotivated APP with an interest in women’s health to work closely with anexperienced physician and team in a collaborative clinical environment. This positiongenerally follows a Monday through Friday schedule (8am-5pm). Candidates mustbe available for occasional after-hours phone calls and hospital rounding. Prior PA/ APRNexperience in Women’s Health, Urology or GYN required.

Job Requirements:

Providingcomprehensive primary healthcare to adult & adolescent patients, includingordering and evaluating diagnostic tests within the scope of practice Accuratelyperform history and physical examinations Consults,co-manages and refers patients as appropriate Prescribesmedications as delegated in protocol and procedures Completesnecessary documentation in a timely manner Writesorders for medications, treatments, tests & IV fluids consistent with scopeof practice of the physician and PA Providingassessment of patients medical, physical & psychological status Documentsexamination results & records progress notes and provides continuity ofcare Opento learning pessary fittings and maintenance, biopsies, implantablecontraception modalities, pelvic floor therapy & pelvic floor diagnostictesting •BLS certificationrequired. • This positionearns competitive compensation plus a full benefits package including 401(k)with match!
