First Physicians Group of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System hasopened a brand new 7,400 Sq. Ft office with 10 exam and 2 EMG roomsin Venice, FL, and we are hiring multiple General and Sub-SpecialtyNeurologists to join our team. All neurologists, includingFellowship-trained in Neuromuscular, Behavioral, and MovementDisorders, are encouraged to apply. Physicians may have officespace in one or more of our Sarasota and Venicelocations.

Opportunity Highlights Join 13 highly trained sub-specialty and general neurologistsin a collegial practice environment. Inpatient/Outpatient or Outpatient only positions areavailable. Group has 6 PAs/APRNs providing coverage in the clinic andhospital settings. Neurohospitalist coverage is provided at both SMH-Sarasota andSMH-Venice. Outpatient services are available in three clinic locations inSarasota and Venice. Hospital has separate Neurology and Stroke inpatient servicelines. Telestroke coverage is provided by an outside contracted groupfor nights and weekends for both hospitals. Large referral base from the employed physicians in FirstPhysicians Group and from community providers. Neurosurgery support for Deep Brain Stimulation treatment. Teaching affiliation with Florida State University is availableif interested.
