Growing together. As a Psychiatrist, you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population.

You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and prescribing medications for behavioral health and psychological disorders.

This is an outpatient clinical environment where you will interact directly with patients.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct clinical services to patients in the form of psychosocial assessments, individual, family, and group treatmentConduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication managementCollaborate as a member of a multi-disciplinary integrated team for the development and delivery of treatment plansFoster excellent provider-patient alliances and coordinate care with external providersOpportunities to represent the practice in community presentations and lecturesParticipate in enriching the training experience of our graduate studentsMaintain accurate and up-to-date electronic records (Athena) and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirementsYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Required Qualifications:

Clear and active License (MD/DO) in state of practiceBoard-Eligible or Board-Certified PsychiatristFederal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)

RegistrationPreferred Qualifications:

2+ years of Behavioral Health experience in an outpatient clinical settingExperience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation – Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs)Expertise in treating children, adolescents, and familiesKnowledge of TMSKnowledge of Magventure chairKnowledge of SpravatoIf the hired individual resides in Florida (office-based or telecommuting), this position requires the AHCA Level II background check (fingerprinting) by the State of Florida for all clinicians that have direct face-to-face contact with members or employees who will have access to confidential patient data and will require renewal every five years.
