• $225,000+ Base Salary, depending on experience

COMPANY PROFILE

This physician-owned private practice operates outpatient officesin Macon and Warner Robins. The group was founded in 2017 andcurrently employs a team of two (2) physicians and four (4) nursepractitioners, who are supported by dedicated clinical andadministrative team members. They are currently seeking apsychiatrist for their new service line in Macon, which they areadding due to patient need. The practice currently provides fullscope primary care services to patients of all ages.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The new psychiatrist will have some flexibility in working with thepractice to determine the details of the job description, as thisis a newly-created position due to an increasing demand frompatients for general, non-acute psychiatric services. The practice is currently marketing the psychiatric service lineand receiving new patient referrals, but the majority of patientswill be referred from the practice s primary care providers, whohave a large existing patient base. The practice will not see acute patients; most patients will beseen for depression, anxiety, and similar conditions. The work will include, but not be limited to:

• general psychiatric evaluations
• counseling services
• medication management The practice sees patients of all ages for primary care, but canconsider a provider with age restrictions in their psychiatricpractice scope.

The practice estimates that the new psychiatrist will see up to 20patients per day, but is flexible on this number based on the newprovider s feedback regarding appropriate visit lengths. The practice uses the eClinicalWorks EHR and will provide allnecessary resources, assistants, etc. that the new psychiatristrequires.

REQUIREMENTS

• Georgia medical license
• DEA•Board Certified, Psychiatry (eligibility will be accepted withpending certification)•1+ year of practice experience
