WHAT WILL YOU DO
  • Our Talented Physicians plan,evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriateresource management to patients, both adults and children
  • -Adheres to the service and courtesy standard of Piedmont UrgentCare by delivering the highest standard of patient satisfaction atall times
  • Provides patient care within the respective clinicalarea which complies with the Professional Staff Bylaws, rules andregulations and Piedmont Urgent Care policies and procedures
  • -Provides and/or serves as a resource for patient/family andstaff
  • Provides an authenticated report of all services renderedand maintains accurate and complete records in an acceptablemanner
  • Completes necessary documentation and ensurescommunication to facilitate patient care and appropriatereimbursement
  • Participates in meetings/activities as required tosupport operations of the urgent care
  • Participates in activitiesthat enhance professional development, complete and maintaincertification in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS and maintains anyadditional specialty training/certifications as required by thearea assigned
  • This position will report to the Regional MedicalDirector (RMD)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Board Certified (or BoardEligible) and Licensed to practice medicine in the state ofpractice
  • Current DEA registration
  • Experience with proceduresincluding suturing and drainage of abscesses
  • Experience withreading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs
  • BLScertification (we will provide this if needed
  • Meets eligibilityrequirements for credentialing set forth by WellStreet UrgentCare
  • Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or EmergencyMedicine preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to communicateeffectively with patients, families and other employees
