Neuro Critical Care Physician Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Northern Georgia Position Available In Chatham, Georgia

Job Description:

A hospital is seeking a neuro critical care physician for locumtenens coverage. Get in touch with nature while in North Georgiaand visit one of the Georgia State Parks near Helen, which includeSmithgall Woods and Unicoi. This Neuro ICU locum assignment is at a635-bed Level I trauma center with a closed 117-bed ICU, including18 Neuro ICU beds. The facility uses EPIC EMR and needs aboard-certified MD or DO in Neurocritical Care for expansioncoverage. Shifts are 7a7p or 7p7a, 7 days a week, with no callrequired. The locum will handle 1018 patients daily, perform 23admissions, and cover rounding and consults in the Neuro ICU only.

Procedures and code response within the Neuro ICU are required.

Medical Critical Care and anesthesia are available, and APP supportis inconsistent. Privileging takes 3060 days; licensure mustalready be in place.
