An IN Facility Is Seeking a Locums Pathologist Position Available In Clarke, Georgia

Job Description:

A facility is seeking an anatomic/clinical pathologist for locumtenens coverage. Downtown Athens, Georgia, offers all kinds of shopping and eating!

You don’t want to miss taking a walk around the beautiful UGAcampus while you’re in town! The schedule is Monday through Friday, either 8:00 AM4:30 PM or9:00 AM5:30 PM, with rotating call every two weeks. The locum willhandle approximately 1015 cases per day and be responsible forgrossing their own specimens. On-call duties include covering theblood bank, organ procurement (rare), frozen sections, andreviewing specimens that meet pathologist review criteria. Frozensections are not cut by the locum. All preparation is done vialiquid base prep.

Dates Needed:

July 1 – ongoing, 2 – 4 weeks per month

Call Ratio/Schedule:

rotating call every two weeks, weeknights andweekends
