- Provides and/or serves as a resource for patient/family andstaff
- Completes necessary documentation and ensures communication tofacilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement
- Participates in meetings/activities as required to supportoperations of the urgent care
- Participates in activities that enhance professionaldevelopment, complete and maintain certification in BLS, ACLS,ATLS, PALS, or NALS and maintains any additional specialtytraining/certifications as required by the area assigned
- This position will report to the Regional Medical Director(RMD) Board Certified (or Board Eligible) and Licensed to practicemedicine in the state of practice
- Current DEA registration
- Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage ofabscesses
- Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth byWellStreet Urgent Care
- Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or EmergencyMedicine preferred
- Outstanding bedside manner with children and adults
