WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Our Talented Physicians plan,evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriateresource management to patients, both adults and children
- Adheresto the service and courtesy standard of Piedmont Urgent Care bydelivering the highest standard of patient satisfaction at alltimes
- Provides patient care within the respective clinical areawhich complies with the Professional Staff Bylaws, rules andregulations and Piedmont Urgent Care policies and procedures
- Provides and/or serves as a resource for patient/family and staff
- Provides an authenticated report of all services rendered andmaintains accurate and complete records in an acceptable manner
- Completes necessary documentation and ensures communication tofacilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement
- Participates in meetings/activities as required to supportoperations of the urgent care
- Participates in activities thatenhance professional development, complete and maintaincertification in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS and maintains anyadditional specialty training/certifications as required by thearea assigned
- This position will report to the Regional MedicalDirector (RMD)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Board Certified (or BoardEligible) and Licensed to practice medicine in the state ofpractice
- Current DEA registration
- Experience with proceduresincluding suturing and drainage of abscesses
- Experience withreading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs
- BLScertification (we will provide this if needed)
- Meets eligibilityrequirements for credentialing set forth by WellStreet Urgent Care
- Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicinepreferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively withpatients, families and other employees
