Internal Medicine – Critical Care Physician Position Available In Fulton, Georgia

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Internal Medicineor Family Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position in apublic-service clinic environment. The clinic provides outpatientcare to underserved and homeless populations, with a strongemphasis on primary care and integrated behavioral health.

You willtreat both adult and pediatric patients, with the majority beingadults. While your primary duties will be in general outpatientcare, you may occasionally be asked to assist in HIV care orbehavioral health (training provided as needed). This role is idealfor a provider with a heart for community health and a strongfoundation in outpatient medicine Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult andpediatric patients Deliver care in a team-based outpatient setting Perform routine physicals, pelvic exams, pap smears, andemployment physicals Document all visits in Epic EMR Collaborate with a team of 6 mid-level providers Participate in clinic quality assurance and compliance withclinical protocols and regulations (CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.) Uphold professional standards and ensure quality patientcare No call responsibilities No supervision of other providers or response to in-housecodes Active Georgia medical license and DEA Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (IMpreferred) BLS Certification Minimum 5 years of post-training clinical experience Graduate of an accredited U.S. medical school Bilingual in Spanish Experience treating medically underserved, homeless, andimmigrant populations Familiarity with diverse patient populations and socialdeterminants of health Prior exposure to HIV care or Integrated Behavioral Health (orwillingness to train) Strong charting skills using Epic EMR Background in staff supervision or clinic administration(preferred, not required)
