Opioid Use Disorder Clinical Trial (Atlanta) compensation: Up to $625 Are you currently using opioids and looking to detox? Is the thought of opioid withdrawal stopping you from seeking treatment? Emory University is looking for currently looking for research participants for a clinical trial. You may be eligible if you:
- Are currently using opioids (Fentanyl, Heroin, Oxycodone, Percocet, Vicodin, etc.)
- Are over the age of 18
- Are willing to undergo supervised withdrawal from opioids in a hospital setting The goal of the study is to see if our handheld, noninvasive device will reduce opioid withdrawal symptoms like craving, nausea, vomiting, and anxiety.
Study participation includes:
- 7-day inpatient stay at Emory University Hospital for supervised opioid withdrawal under the care of Emory physicians and nurses
- 3 total visits (2 short phone calls & 7 day inpatient stay)
- $50 per phone call, up to $525 for hospital stay
- Participants will use the study device, undergo blood draws, and complete questionnaires There is no cost in participating.
