• The Emory Orthopedic Surgery APP Post Graduate Fellowship Program is currently accepting applications for the Spring 2026 Cohort. Emory Healthcare provides a structured and supportive post graduate training and education program for Advanced Practice Providers in Orthopedics.
• The Emory Orthopedic Surgery APP Fellowship is a one-year program that provides a structured and supportive post-graduate training and education to Orthopedic APP’s to enhance quality and safety in patient care and to retain exemplary staff and improve outcomes.

• + Eligible to graduate from an accredited NP or PA program.

Statement of Intent:

One-page, 12-point font, double-spaced statement describing career goals and reasons for pursing the fellowship. Include future career plans and how they might be enhanced by additional training in the fellowship. + Two (2)Letters of Recommendation (including one from Program Director or Current Supervisor if not a new graduate)

• Position Summary:

• + The Orthopedic Surgery NP and PA Fellowship Program is a one-year program that prepares fellows to become highly skilled in the multidisciplinary, collaborative, and evidence-based management of complex and challenging patients in Orthopedics.

+ The Fellowship’s innovative curriculum covers the entire spectrum of the specialty area including joints, upper extremity, lower extremity, orthopedic oncology and spine. + Fellows will have exposure to the care of Orthopedic patients with rotations that will allow them to cultivate specialized and thorough knowledge.

• Minimum Qualifications:

• + Completion of an accredited PA or Acute Care NP Master’s program prior to the start of the Fellowship program. + National board certification as a PA or Acute Care NP. + Eligible for licensure as a PA or NP in Georgia. + Eligible for DEA license. + American Heart Association BLS, and Healthcare Provider certifications required.
