Radiology Manager 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars 5995 Spring Street, Warm Springs, GA 31830 Job Summary The Radiology Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the radiology department, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient workflow. This role involves managing staff, coordinating medical imaging services, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The Radiology Manager will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic imaging services. Schedule
- 40 hours week, Monday
- Friday 8am
- 4:30pm. Experience Required
- graduate of a 2-year radiology program. Previous hospital management experience preferred. Multimodality experience necessary. Credentials Required
- ARRT plus other registries. BLS certification required. Education Required
- Graduate of Accredited School of Radiology Technology.
Duties Supervise and manage radiology staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Ensure the effective operation of all radiology equipment, including CT, mammography, and other diagnostic imaging modalities. Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. Collaborate with physicians to ensure timely and accurate interpretation of medical images. Monitor compliance with safety regulations and quality assurance protocols in medical imaging practices. Maintain knowledge of current trends in radiology technology and emergency medicine to improve service delivery. Conduct regular audits of imaging practices to ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and best practices in patient care. Skills Proficient in various imaging techniques including CT, mammography, and diagnostic radiology. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to medical imaging procedures. Familiarity with urgent care protocols and emergency medicine practices. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and healthcare providers. Ability to train staff on new technologies and procedures while fostering a collaborative team environment. Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality in medical imaging services.
