Neonatologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Northeastern Georgia Position Available In [Unknown county], Georgia

A hospital is seeking a neonatologist for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in northeastern Georgia. Coverage is needed starting as soon as credentialed (approximately 120 days), for two weekends per month. Shifts run from Saturday 8:00 a.m. to Sunday 2:00 p.m., including onsite rounds and night call on Saturday, and onsite rounds Sunday morning. Each shift includes care for 812 patients, with an average daily census of 40 and about 3 admissions per day. Support is provided by APPs, RNs, neonatal fellows, physicians, pharmacy, and nutrition, with anesthesia support available. Multiple providers will be considered, and candidates must be licensedthough there may be flexibility for those with IMLC or equivalent credentials.
