Job Responsibilities Provide comprehensive GI care including clinic visits, endoscopy, and inpatient consultations Perform both standard and advanced endoscopic procedures (ERCP preferred) Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver integrated patient care Participate in shared call coverage Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation Contribute to the growth of a new GI service line within an established health system Additional Information Help for Additional Information. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Eligible for or holding an unrestricted medical license in Louisiana Advanced endoscopic training preferred (ERCP) Strong commitment to clinical excellence and teamwork Working Hours Full-time, hospital-employed position Mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient consults, and endoscopic procedures Shared call responsibilities Skills Proficiency in both diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures Skilled in advanced techniques including ERCP (preferred) Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Experience in launching or shaping a new service line is a plus Help for Employer Information.
