No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting Major Duties/Responsibilities Responsible for all clinical and administrive functions of the Phology and Laborory Medicine service. Responsible to ensure th all residency training program mandes are met and may serve as the site director for Phology Service. Identifies needs and recommends major equipment acquisition and replacement with considerion of timeliness of acquisition and cost effectiveness of new equipment. Ensures accure clinical laborory test results with turn-around-time (TAT) th meet the reasonable and possible expections of the medical staff and accrediting agencies. Ensures accure anomic phology services (surgical phology, cytology, and autopsy), with TATs th meet the reasonable and possible expections of the medical staff and accrediting agencies. Ensures communicion and coordinion between the Medical Center laborory services and the clinical/pient care services. Ensures clinical service meet all regulions and directives local, regional, and nional level including accrediting agencies. Serves as OBVAMC and BAFB Lab Director.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, occasionally may be required to workon call responsibility on rotion as assigned.
