Highland Medical Center is seeking a compassionate, board-certified (or board-eligible) Pain Management Physician to join our growing multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive and interventional pain management services to patients suffering from chronic and acute pain conditions.

Shreveport-Bossier Health System, is a nonprofit, faith-based hospital located in southeast Shreveport, Louisiana. It has 215 staffed beds with over 1,800 employees and more than 600 physicians and advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Perform interventional procedures such as epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, spinal cord stimulator trials, and other advanced techniques.
Collaborate with referring providers, physical therapists, and other specialists.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
Participate in quality improvement and practice development initiatives.

Qualifications:

MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Board certification or eligibility in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, or PM&R.
Valid and unrestricted medical license in Louisiana
DEA license and ability to prescribe controlled substances.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

2+ years in interventional pain management (fellowship training strongly preferred).
