Baton Rouge, LA Full Time Hours:

Flexible weekday schedule Employed New Graduates Average Patients seen: 22 patients Monday

• Thursday, 11 patients on Friday, 6 patients on Saturday to allow for walk-ins

Call Schedule:

1 month of primary call and 6 months of back up call to an NP or PA on primary call.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for providing direct patient care, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic illnesses
• Supervision of students
• Perform EKG and pulmonary function test interpretation
• Non-invasive evaluation of gynecologic patients
• Treatment of uncomplicated dermatological conditions
• Treatment of acute back and neck pain, bursitis, tendonitis, tennis elbow, joint aspirations, abscess, etc
• Perform excision and removal of foreign bodies from eyes and ears
• Perform suturing of simple lacerations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Board certified or Board eligible in Family Practice
• Infectious Disease background
• LA license
• Federal and state DEA Certificates
